A DREAM CAN COME TRUE

Martin Luther King had a cream for people everywhere. He wanted them to get along and show how much they care. By helping one another and always being fair. So remember Martin Luther King and help his dream come true, By always treating others as you’d want them to treat you.

Nine visits . . .

After nine check up visits to doctors, labs and testing facilities over my holiday vacation, I finally got the “all clear” that everything is absolutely fine with me!  My  65 year old body is good to go for another year!!

Back to school!!!!

My kids and I were a little slow “off the block” this morning!  But as the day went on and we got busy, as usual, things started to fall into place.  We had a visit from the new Principal, and we heard that a new student is joining us tomorrow.  We also did some other work [...]

CHINESE NEW YEAR (Year of the Dragon)

A child lives in China with his father and his mother,

And for the fifteen days of New Year, each day is like no other.

As the Chinese New Year starts, they sweet and mop and dust,

For cleaning out the old ways is a Chinese New Year “must.”

The family shops for oranges, for fish and flowering plums,

They want to be prepared, when the Chinese New Year comes.

Red is a happy color, they put red poetry on the door,

The mother cooks some dumplings and the father sweeps the floor.

On the first day of the New Year, family members they will greet,

On that day also, they give their dog a treat!
