It was ”back to school” for me again today - the second day of working in my classroom before classes actually begin. I got the walls decorated, bulletin boards done, things organized and I even made a dent in the paperwork!
Meanwhile, I have agreed to teach adult classes for the County like I did last year. I will be working with Gifted Teachers who are finishing their certification. Having adult students is very different from my normal students – it’s a great experience for me.
However, this position entails doing a presentation to a large group of Gifted teachers during our pre-school meeting. This is my present challenge – how to make it worthwhile and entertaining when we all have more pressing matters on our minds . . . .
