Yes, my daughter celebrated her 45th birthday – think how old that must make me!!  Everyone met at La Bomba for dinner to celebrate the occasion – lots of good food and conversation – and fried ice cream for the grand finale!

I had a small gathering of old friends from Barton Elementary.  Even though we have scattered to many different schools, several of us have stuck together.  We caught up on news, gossip and plans – ate and drank wine – and had a wonderful time!  We all agreed that we should get together more often!

Joe is in Australia!  Jeff, his son, and his wife, Caroline, plus kids Jackson, Hollie and Brynn are living in Sydney for two years.  Joe is not only with his #2 son’s family, but his #1 son, Joe Jr. with sons, Trey and Camden are also visiting.  Joe is in “grandpa heaven” right now!
