Yes, my daughter celebrated her 45th birthday – think how old that must make me!!  Everyone met at La Bomba for dinner to celebrate the occasion – lots of good food and conversation – and fried ice cream for the grand finale!

Joe is in Australia!  Jeff, his son, and his wife, Caroline, plus kids Jackson, Hollie and Brynn are living in Sydney for two years.  Joe is not only with his #2 son’s family, but his #1 son, Joe Jr. with sons, Trey and Camden are also visiting.  Joe is in “grandpa heaven” right now!

The first football game was Sunday – and the worry begins.  Drew’s team, the Colts, (which Karl coaches), won 7-0, BUT there were three  kids with injuries – an ankle, a knee and a bump on the head.  Football is definitely NOT my favorite sport . . .

The kids are growing up so fast!  Kyle and Adam will be in 8th grade at Boca Middle School this year.  Drew will be in 5th grade at Caloosa and Shannen in 3rd at Banyan Creek.  Where are the years going??
