Drew spent 40 hours this summer to become certified in scuba diving.  He did five days in the classroom and two open water dives in the ocean.  He’s just 10 years old, which the minimum age to be licensed.  OK, so I’m his Grammy – but that IS an impressive accomplishment, right??

The word spread about having so much fun at Grammy’s house!  Now we’ll have “double” the good times!  Shannen has the milkshakes planned – not sure what else is on the schedule!

Stop #1  CARMAX – just to doublecheck . . . Stop #2  World Thrift in Lake Worth – Shannen has $5 burning a hole in her pocket! Stop #3  School Stop #4  Costco – lunch, photos, gas Stop #5  Who knows???

Shannen and I have had such a nice time together!  First, she helped me negotiate my car deal, (with her very charming personality),  and then we waited a long time in the Post Office trying to close the damage claim on my garage sale box from Michigan.  Next,  we spent a fun evening together, and enjoyed the Christmas tree lights [...]

Tues. AM       I must have registered at the Chilis on Jog Road at some point -  they sent me a  “kids eat free”  coupon for today.  Since Shannen will be with me, we just might take advantage of it! 7:00 pm          However, we opted to have dinner at home, complete with entertainment. I met Shirley at church and then invited her to lunch at my house.  We had Italian food and a good visit.  I’m glad she moved to Florida – we will keep her occupied here!

 The Shuttle launched on schedule – wow, what a sight!  Even though it was slightly cloudy, the amazing glow, the thundering noise and powerful earth shudder was amazing  . . .  it brought back good memories of my years on the Space Coast.  Meanwhile, the kids had fun boogie boarding, and I got too much sun!!  (Click on photos to [...]

We had a great house party tonight!  We are all anxiously waiting for the  Shuttle launch tomorrow morning  . . .  meanwhile, we had a party which included five girlfriends, and daughter Terri and grandsons, Adam and Drew!  Good food and wine, and LOTS of fun and laughter!
