Linda Loves Life

Doris, John, Joe and I went to the Octoberfest celebration at the German-American Club.  We had a great time – good food and entertainment!

Now that Hilda’s, (my good friend and neighbor), house full of company is gone,  she had leftovers.  Wow, is she a good cook!  She brought me some healthy soup, stuffed shells, Cuban pork, plantains, and best of all, flan.  Yummy – what a treat!!

My friend, (and heroine), Lidia gets TOTAL credit for this website!!  Every time I  need HELP or ADVICE or EXPERTISE with anything related to my blog, she is there.  I am SO very lucky that Lidia and her lovely son Douglas entered my life while at North Grade - they gave me this totally new experience which I am loving!!!!

Hilda is planning a big houseparty to celebrate her birthday and to welcome her grandson home after years of living in Italy.  The party is spilling over into my house for some extra sleeping space.  Enjoy every moment, Hilda!!

Jenelle is stuck in Houston due to bad weather and will miss her connection to Sacramento.  Hopefully they can reroute – LONG day for her . . . Update:  She is in the air and on her way home!  So happy that Continental found a solution!!!
